Major Tom's Pomegranate Wheat

Major Tom's Pomegranate Wheat is brewed by Fort Collins Brewery in Fort Collins, Colorado.  I first had Major Tom's in the mid 2000s while living in Fort Collins, Colorado.  At one time, I was a member of the Tap Club at Fort Collins Brewery and I used to walk to their brewery to their tasting room near the Fort Collins downtown airport, always having some Major Tom's Pomegranate Wheat.

Samuel Adams Summer Ale

Samuel Adams Summer Ale is brewed by the Boston Beer Company in Boston, Massachusetts.  I first tried Samuel Adams Summer Ale in 2007 while living in Colorado.  Since it is now feeling more like summer, it may be time to try some of those summer brews that are out or that will be coming out over the season.

St. Pauli N.A.

St. Pauli N.A. is the non-alcoholic version of the famous St. Pauli Girl lager that is brewed in Bremen, Germany as part of Anheuser-Busch InBev and is primarily exported to the US.  I first tried St. Pauli NA earlier in May of 2012 after finding it at the Metropolitan Market in West Seattle.  This photo below is the St. Pauli Girl from the 1995 series of posters.  I actually had one of these posters that I got for free at a gas station in Arizona after attending the 1996 Holiday Bowl in San Diego.  You can see all of the other posters from the past St. Pauli Girls here.

C-Note Imperial Pale Ale

C-Note Imperial Pale Ale is brewed by New Old Lompoc Brewing or Lompoc Brewing (they have the same webpage and I have seen it both ways) in Portland, Oregon.  I first tried this beer at the beginning of May, 2012 in Seattle, Washington after finding it at PCC in West Seattle.  Though I could link to the C-Note from any of their location links within the Lompoc site I randomly chose the Oaks Bottom site for the initial link.  Now all of the Lompoc locations in Portland are on my list to visit the next time I come to Portland for beer or really Portland for anything because I will have beer anyway!

Odin's Gift

Odin's Gift, previously known as Odin's Gift Ruby Ale is brewed by Odin Brewing in Seattle, Washington.  Odin's Gift ceased to be Odin's Gift Ruby Ale after McMenamin's based in Oregon notified Odin's that they had a trademark on Ruby Ale.  Interestingly, I have tried at least two versions of McMenamin's Ruby Ales on my trips to Portland over the last year.  I first tried Odin's Gift when it was still Odin's Gift Ruby Ale in March of 2011 in Seattle.  Once again, this post is also part of my celebration of Seattle Beer Week.

Wailua Wheat

Wailua Wheat is brewed by Kona Brewing in Hawaii.  I first tasted Wailua Wheat at the Great American Beer Festival in 2006 but didn't really try a full serving until the following summer in 2007 while visiting friends in Laramie, Wyoming.  I am not sure if it is strange that I first tried Wailua Wheat in two land locked states in the center of North America and didn't have it while I was actually in Hawaii?

Bud Light Lime A Rita

I hadn't heard of or seen this Lime-A-Rita from Bud Light Lime until yesterday morning!!!  What an appropriate surprise to have come across this lime-a-rita on Cinco de Mayo!  I was unable to try it until this evening but I rarely celebrate much of anything on the day it occurs...  Bud Light Lime-A-Rita is brewed by Anheuser-Busch as part of Anheuser-Busch-InBev.  I found this in a bin as part of a Cinco de Mayo display at a QFC store in Seattle.
