Bayreuther Landbier

Bayreuther Landbier is brewed by the Bayreuther Bierbrauerei in Germany.  I first tried Bayreuther Landbier in June of 2012 while visiting Prost just a few blocks from where I live in West Seattle.

Prometheus IPA

Prometheus IPA is brewed by Elysian Brewing in Seattle, Washington.  I first tried Prometheus IPA in July of 2012 after finding it at The Beer Junction in West Seattle.  Prometheus IPA is part of the Manic IPA Series that Elysian has been brewing in 2012.

Gigantic IPA

Gigantic IPA is brewed by Gigantic Brewing in Portland, Oregon.  I first tried Gigantic IPA earlier this month after finding it at Metropolitan Market in West Seattle.  Gigantic Brewing is a new brewery in Portland, that opened about a month after I was last there but it will be on my list of breweries to visit the next time I am in Portland.

Steelie Brown Ale is brewed by Skagit River Brewery in Mount Vernon, Washington.  I first tried Skagit River Steelie Brown Ale in the summer of 2009 after finding it at Big Star Beer Market in Seattle.

Tooheys New

Tooheys New Draught Beer is brewed outside Sydney in Australia as part of Lion Nathan.  I first tried Toohey's New while I was on my Qantas flight from Los Angeles to Sydney when I went to Australia to visit friends and explore during November of 2007.

John Smith's Extra Smooth

John Smith's Extra Smooth Ale is brewed in the United Kingdom by John Smith's Brewery, which is part of Heineken International.  I first tried John Smith's Extra Smooth while I was in London in March of 2007.  I had just finished a 4-month period of travel through Africa and one of my fellow travelers wore a John Smith's shirt throughout the time so I sought it out during my brief stay in London before returning to the US.

Pilsner Ice is brewed by East African Breweries in Kenya.  I first tried Pilsner Ice while I was traveling through Kenya during late December of 2006.

Pike Saison Houblon

Saison Houblon is brewed by Pike Brewing in Seattle, Washington.  I first tried Saison Houblon in July of 2012 after finding it at the Safeway in the Admiral District of West Seattle.  I am still finding Saison Houblon in stores and I found it interesting that Houblon is French for hops.

O'Doul's

O'Doul's is a non-alcohol beer that is produced by Anheuser-Busch as part of Anheuser-Busch InBev in the US.  I first tried O'Doul's in 2002 while living in Fort Collins, Colorado.  It is still the most common non-alcoholic beer that I drink and I have this beer quite frequently.

Mike's Hard Raspberry Lemonade is a flavored malt beverage made by Mikes Hard Lemonade.  I first tried Mike's Hard Raspberry Lemonade shortly after I moved to Seattle in late 2008.

Dogfish Head Pearl Jam Twenty Faithful Ale

Pearl Jam Twenty Faithfull Ale was brewed by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, Delaware.  I first tried Faithfull Ale just last week in August of 2012 in Seattle, Washington.  I found the Dogfish Faithfull Ale in late 2011 at the Metropolitan Market in West Seattle and had been holding on to it for a while (actually lost it in the shuffle of all my beers that I am saving).  Here is a local piece about the beer from the Seattle PI and here is a link to a little more about Pearl Jam and here is their official website.

Hawaii Nui Sunset Amber Ale is brewed by Hawaii Nui Brewing in Hawaii.  I first tried Sunset Amber Ale while I was on vacation with family on the island of Kauai in Hawaii during March of 2012.  Apparently Sunset Amber Ale may also be the same beer as Keoki Sunset.

James Squire The Craic Irish Stout

James Squire The Craic Irish Stout was brewed by James Squire Brewing at the Malt Shovel Brewery in Sydney, Australia and is owned by Lion Nathan.  I tried James Squire Craic Irish Stout while I was in Sydney visiting friends in November of 2007.  I have previously posted about a few other James Squire brews including Governor King, Golden Ale and Hop Thief.
