Rogue Captain Sig's Northwestern Ale

Captain Sig's Northwestern Ale is brewed in Oregon by Rogue Ales.  I first tried Sig's Northwestern Ale after finding it at the Big Star Beer Market in Seattle in the spring of 2009.  Captian Sig's Northwestern Ale is a reference to the fishing boat the Northwestern and apparently this beer has also been known as Captain Sig's Deadliest Ale in reference to the TV show Deadliest Catch.

Alaskan Birch Bock

Alaskan Birch Bock is brewed by Alaskan Brewing in Juneau, Alaska.  I first tried Birch Bock yesterday in September of 2012 in Seattle, Washington.  Alaskan Birch Bock is part of the Pilot Series from Alaskan Brewing. I have previously posted about a few Alaskan Brewing beers including Perseverance Ale, Smoked Porter and Summer Ale.

Ebenezer Ale is brewed by BridgePort Brewing in Portland, Oregon.  I first tried Ebenezer Ale in October of 2007 while I was living in Fort Collins, Colorado.  I visited the BridgePort brewpub in Portland, Oregon in April 2012.

Belhaven Best

Belhaven Best is brewed by Belhaven Brewery in Scotland.  I first tried Belhaven Best while I was visiting friends in Edinburgh during August of 2007 prior to traveling further around Scotland including the highlands.  Belhaven Best is the favorite beer of one friend I have who lived in Scotland for several years.  I have previously posted Belhaven Twisted Thistle.

Michelob Ultra

Michelob Ultra is brewed by Anheuser-Busch as part of Anheuser-Busch InBev.  I first tried Michelob Ultra shortly after it was released in 2002 while I was living in Fort Collins, Colorado.  Michelob Ultra is the first beer introduced in the Michelob Ultra family of beers, of which I have posted about Michelob Ultra Lime Cactus.  I feel that Michelob Ultra is still part of the overall Michelob family of beers, which include several that I have shared including Michelob Bavarian Style Wheat, Michelob Golden Draft, Michelob Amber Bock and others.

Dogfish Head Tweason'ale

Tweason'ale is brewed by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, Delaware.  I first tried Tweason'ale in February of 2012 in Seattle, Washington after finding it at the PCC in West Seattle.  I have previously poted other Dogfish Head brews including - My Antonia, Punkin Ale, Burton BatonBlack & Blue and Faithfull Ale.

Today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day!  For such a day I have to share an appropriate beer.
Piraat Ale is brewed by Brouwerij Van Steenberge in Belgium. I first tried Piraat Ale in February of 2011 in Seattle, Washington after finding it at the West Seattle PCC store. I have previously posted another pirate appropriate beer - Three Skulls Buccaneer Bacon

Carling Black Label

Carling Black Label has a long and convoluted history about where and by whom it has been brewed as illustrated in this wonderful history of the brand.  I first tried Carling Black Label while I was traveling through Namibia in February of 2007 and the rendition of Black Label that I had was brewed by South African Breweries.

Caldera IPA

Caldera IPA is brewed by Caldera Brewing in Ashland, Oregon.  I first tried Caldera IPA in the fall of 2009 in Seattle, Washington.  Caldera was canning their craft beers before many others, which I have noticed taking place more in the last year or so and I read an article earlier this year about this trend.

Mango Weizen is brewed by Trade Route Brewing, which is now located in Pacific, Washington.  Trade Route Brewing was originally Laughing Buddha Brewing and was located in Seattle, Washington.
I first tried Mango Weizen when it was Laughing Buddha Mango Weizen as pictured below during late 2008 after moving to Seattle.

Hunter's Extra Matured Export Cider

Hunter's Export Extra Matured is a cider produced in South Africa by Distell Group.  I first tried Hunter's Export cider while I was traveling around Namibia in February of 2007 and also found it in South Africa.  I have previously posted another Hunter's cider, Hunter's Extra Dry.

Mac & Jacks Two Tun IPA

Two Tun IPA is brewed by Mac & Jack's Brewing in Redmond, Washington.  I first had Ten Tun IPA when I visited Seattle in June of 2008 and most recently had it in the SeaTac airport in the Africa Lounge over Labor Day weekend 2012.
