Luxor Weizen

Luxor Weizen is brewed in Egypt by Egyptian International Beverages Co.  I first tried Luxor Weizen while I was in Luxor, Egypt in late October of 2006.  While I found Luxor products in other parts of Egypt, I only found Luxor Weizen one time.  It is listed here as one of the best beers in Egypt and the only weizen.

Luxor Classic

Luxor Classic is brewed in Egypt by Egypt International Beverage Company. I tried Luxor Classic while I was traveling in Egypt during September and October of 2006. I am sure I had it at more than one location but most likely first tried it in Cairo.

Stella

No, this is not Stella Artois that I am posting about today. Stella is a beer found in Egypt, that I tried on my first day in Cairo in the fall of 2006. It is brewed by Al Ahram Beverages, which is part of Heineken. I enjoyed Stella, it was a cold beer in a very hot place so that is always a good combination, though I think there were a couple of others I liked more.
