Smithwick's Irish Ale is a beer that is produced by Guinness, which is part of Diageo. I first tried Smithwick's Irish Ale in the fall of 2004 in Fort Collins, CO after getting locked out of my parents house so I walked to the liquor store a few blocks away got some beer and walked back and waited on the back porch until someone else arrived to let me back in.
